Our Posture Toward Other Faiths and the Questioning: Love Without Compromise
In a world filled with diverse beliefs and worldviews, conversations about faith can feel sensitive and emotionally charged. People carry personal histories, cultural backgrounds, wounds, and honest questions. As believers in Jesus Christ, we never want to approach these conversations with arrogance or hostility.
Our calling is clear:
Speak truth with love, humility, and grace.
1. We Believe Jesus Christ Is the Only Way
Scripture leaves no room for multiple paths to God:
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
– John 14:6 (KJV)
Not a way—
THE way.
We believe:
-
The Bible is the inspired and final authority of God’s truth.
-
Salvation is found exclusively in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection.
-
Christianity is not one option among many spiritual choices.
It is the only true path to reconciliation with God.
This conviction isn’t rooted in intolerance—it is rooted in the Word of God.
2. What We Don’t Do: Attack, Mock, or Look Down on Others
Jesus never treated people with contempt—not the Samaritan woman, not the Roman soldiers, not the tax collectors, not the doubters.
If Jesus, the only perfect one, didn’t belittle people, neither should we.
We do not:
-
Argue people into faith
-
Mock other religions
-
Treat atheists or seekers as “projects”
We believe every person has dignity because they are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27).
Disagreement is not hate.
Truth is not unkind.
3. What We Do: Love People and Give Answers With Gentleness
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer… with meekness and fear.”
– 1 Peter 3:15 (KJV)
Our calling is to:
-
Listen to people’s stories
-
Offer Scripture, not arguments
-
Invite, not pressure
-
Love, not manipulate
Real transformation comes from God, not from our persuasion.
4. We Respect People’s Freedom While Sharing Truth
God Himself gives free will.
He invites—not forces.
He draws—not demands.
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock…”
– Revelation 3:20 (KJV)
If God respects a person enough to let them choose,
we should too.
5. To Those Searching, Doubting, or Unsure
If you’re exploring faith, or unsure what to believe:
-
Your questions are welcome.
-
Your doubts are not shameful.
-
Your story matters.
Jesus is not afraid of your questions.
And neither are we.
Come explore, learn, read, wrestle.
Sit with the Scriptures and let God speak.
6. The Invitation of the Gospel
Every religion says:
“Do more. Try harder. Earn your way.”
Jesus says:
“It is finished.” (John 19:30)
Salvation is not achieved—
it is received.
Through faith in Christ alone.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.”
– Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)
In Summary
✔ We do not condemn or belittle other beliefs.
✔ We do not compromise the truth of the gospel.
✔ We love people deeply, listen respectfully, and speak truth boldly.
✔ We believe salvation comes only through Jesus Christ.
Our mission is not to win debates.
Our mission is to lead people to Jesus.
“Neither is there salvation in any other…”
– Acts 4:12 (KJV)
